The advanced training is designed for people who are willing to go through the pain of learning. While clearing a boss is nice and all, I might be a bit of a nastier presence during my advanced trainings. If callouts are repeatedly ignored, for example, I will simply ask for a gg. Over and over again, until people start listening. If that sounds a bit too annoying for you, then you might be better off checking out my beginner-friendly runs. Some people get so comfortable chasing high damage numbers that they simply ignore callouts. And while, yes, these people will probably do more damage than I ever did in my entire raiding career combined, a commander is there for a reason: to command. And people join a training for a reason: to be trained. In this training, we'll be tackling the following bosses: - Twin Largos - Matthias - Keep Construct **Requirements and Rules:** - A level 80 character - Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire - A basic understanding of raid terminology - No backseating - Be on time If you have any questions, of course, I'm more than happy to explain. I don't mind if people take a little longer to grasp a mechanic. What I'm looking for, however, is people who are willing to learn, not just people who want to be carried through the encounters.
The raiding scene in Guild Wars 2 can be hard to get into — most often you'll be asked for KP (killproof), the classic gatekeeping mechanic. Fear not: join our beginner raid commander on a guided tour through various raid wings.
All fights are explained up front with pointers throughout. No DPS requirements — the goal is a safe space to learn mechanics and pacing while receiving all the guidance we can offer.
