Guild missions
Looking for a guild that does guild missions? Or not even familiar with them yet? Join us on our weekly guild mission runs! Usually hosted on weekends, guild missions are an excellent event to join to unwind at the end of the week.
Guild missions are special types of weekly events unique to guilds and require participation of multiple members. Missions that are currently available are listed in the Guild Missions tab in your guild panel, and the weekly reset happens at 07:30 UTC.
Once per week, when you complete a guild mission, you get a personal reward for each unique mission. Guild missions have a time limit, so you need to make sure you complete it in time. If the mission fails, it will have a cooldown before it can be launched again.
Guild missions are old content, so regardless of their portrayed difficulty level, you can rest assured that they are all considered very easy nowadays. So do not hesitate and join us for some quick rewards, including guild commendations—a currency that you can spend on various items!
Difficulty levels:
- Easy - award with 70 silver and 1 Guild Commendation
- Medium - award with 75 silver and 1 Guild Commendation
- Hard - award with 80 silver and 2 Guild Commendations

The guild receives favor for the first time a member successfully completes a mission. Favor is a special type of currency spent on guild upgrades.
Since our guild reached the cap of favor and can not be upgraded further, certain guild missions might be abandoned once all participants received personal rewards. This is only possible if the personal reward is received before mission success, such as in a guild race.
The Guild will not receive favor for failed missions, but the participants do not lose their personal reward. This can speed up progression through the weekly events considerably.

Bounty
Guild members need to work together to kill target NPCs arcoss Tyria. The number of targets and time limit depends on the difficulty of the mission, difficulty also determines which targets might be randomly chosen.
You can recognize the Bounty target by the big green shield above their head. Some targets move around the map on certain paths, others hide in objects you need to interact with in order to reveal the target.
Difficulty scales:
- Easy: 1 target, 10 minutes
- Medium: 3 targets, 15 minutes
- Hard: 5 targets, 20 minutes
When you find your target, link the closest waypoint in your squad chat and map chat. Other guilds may need the same target as well and may ask to wait for their guild members. Personal reward is only received when hitting the target at least once. If officers restart the mission you may not get the same target! Someone is late? Then be a good person, hit the target and step back, give those who are incoming their best chance to gain participation as well.

Trek
The objective of the guild trek is to find several locations within the time limit. There are 185 possible locations scattered around Central Tyria. and name of the trek is meant to be a clue to the location needed but luckily all hard work is done by our ancestors.
The trek location is represented by a golden sparkling circle. To get the personal reward you need to be inside the circle when it’s activated. If the guild needs favor from Guild Missions you will need to spread out and tag all given treks, so the guild can get the reward for completing the mission.
Difficulty scales:
- Easy: 5 target, 15 minutes
- Medium: 15 targets, 17 minutes
- Hard: 30 targets, 20 minutes
When you find your target, link the closest waypoint in your squad chat and map chat. Other guilds may need the same target as well and may ask to wait for their guild members. Personal reward is only received when hitting the target at least once. If officers restart the mission you may not get the same target! Someone is late? Then be a good person, hit the target and step back, give those who are incoming their best chance to gain participation as well.
Because the guild no longer needs favor, guild treks are usually ended prematurely after everyone has received their personal reward. However, this requires the participants to follow the instructions below clearly to work:

- The guild mission commander chooses the location.
- Wait for everyone to go near it (not ON it).
- Once everyone is ready go inside the golden circle, move on top of it WITHOUT interacting, so make sure not to click or interact.
- Once everyone is on the commander will trigger the mark, everyone on it will then receive their personal reward.
- Those who missed it or weren’t inside the circle do not get the reward. Another location needs to be completed in this case. If you got the reward for the previous location but someone missed it, do not follow to the next one, leave it to those who need it. Be respectful of other guildmates.
- Once everyone gets their personal reward, the commander will abandon the mission to launch the next one. You will see “Mission Failed”, which only applies to the favor reward for the guild, not your personal reward.
You can find the full list of possible trek locations at the wiki, here.

Race
During Guild Races players are transformed into an animal and then required to pass through a series of markers to cross the finish line before the timer of 30 minutes runs out. While being transformed your skills will be hidden and replaced with 3 abilities, the first one is always Search, which you need to use to reveal hidden traps. Others may vary depending on the race but are usually support skills. If you die during the race you will be able to reset to the beginning.
It’s a common thing to ask for an escort: non transformed players defend racers by killing mobs, healing racers and granting them swiftness, barriers, boons.
There are 7 races available:
- Bear Lope
- Chicken Run
- Crab Scuttles
- Devourer Durrow
- Ghost Wolf Run
- Quaggan Paddle
- Spider Scurry
Contrary to other guild missions, it does not matter whether the participants are guild members or not. Any player who reached the finish line will count. It also means that multiple guilds can gain credit from one race. Once 15 players reach the finish line the race can be ended early by an officer, delivering the personal reward to all participants.

Challenge
Challenges are instanced guild missions, they are designed for 10+ players but become very easy with a larger group. There are six possible challenges:
- Scratch Sentry Defense
- Blightwater Shatterstrike
- Branded for Termination
- Deep Trouble
- Save our Supplies
- Southsun Crab Toss
To get into the instance you need to wait for the commander to start the mission, after which you can interact with the banner at the mission location to be teleported to the instance. During the challenge you need to perform specific tasks within the time limit. It may be killing mobs, defending something or just staying alive.

Puzzle
Similar to challenges, puzzles are also instanced guild missions and fairly easy for groups of 10 or more people. As the name suggests, the focus here lies more on solving several puzzles to progress through the area. These can consist of logic puzzles, matching games, jumping puzzles, or navigating through a maze.
A major difference, however, is that the puzzle rooms reset over time. This means that the party should always progress to the next as a group to avoid players getting stuck once the passage closes again.
For this reason, when a participant dies it is important to attempt resurrection rather than respawning, as respawning will reset the player to the start of the instance.
The instance needs to be completed within a set timer. However, separate puzzle rooms will often also have their own timer for the room-specific objective.
There are three possible puzzles:
- Angvar’s Trove (30 minutes)
- Lagmar Estate (20 minutes)
- Proxemics Lab (20 minutes)
