  2. Create a new key with "progression" and "unlocks" permissions
  3. Copy and paste it above

You can always add your API key later to sync your progress

How we use your API key

  • The API key is optional and stored only in your browser's localStorage.
  • When provided, the key is sent to this app (same origin) so the server can fetch your Guild Wars 2 account data from the official GW2 API; the key is not shared with third parties.
  • The key is not persisted on our server beyond the request handling; you can remove it anytime from the app.
  • We recommend creating a key with minimal permissions (progression, unlocks) and revoking it via your GW2 account when no longer needed.
